Here are two great deals for getting out and exploring the Atlanta area this weekend!
National Parks across the country are offering free admission from January 14 - 16, in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day (see MLK day events in Atlanta). This, of course, includes the King Historic Site, but also other parks like the Chattahoochee River site. Luckily, many of Georgia's National Park are free all year round, but you may save a few bucks at some.
Also a great deal, the High Museum of Art is offering a "pay what you wish" promotion this Sunday. All day during normal operating hours (noon - 5 p.m.), you pay whatever you feel is fair to view the entire collection, including Picasso to Warhol. This offer is valid on walk-up tickets only.
